Slum Life

Slum Life

Who would like to live in a place where there were no toilets and lived in a small one bedroom house with seven other people? What I am talking about is called a slum. A slum is area not to far from major city, that's has hundreds of people living there who are always getting sick because of the waste from the big cities goes through there. Slums have a negative effect on populations because slums are growing. How is it to live in the slums and how it affects everyone? Now we are going to talk about how the slums are growing so fast. Many people are leaving their villages in the country to come live in the slums.

Most of the slums are bad, but what makes them even worse is that they are growing so fast because of so many people who are poor. The largest slum in the world is located in Africa. People in Africa are really poor and do not have much money. The reason why the largest slum is located in Africa is because of the high population and not enough jobs for everyone. Now we are going to see how the people in the slums live.

The way the people can live in the slums and how hard it is. One example of how hard it is-is that there are no toilets for them to use the bathroom in. They have to poop in plastic bags know as "fling toilets", because they do not have money for nice clean toilets. Now talking about how it affects everyone.

Slums can everyone. It does not matter if you are near them or far from them. From what the text said it effects everyone because the pollution that the people live in causes them to get many diseases and they can pass the diseases to others, because the air can travel around, the people in and around can catch something. Now for everything

How would you like it if you lived in a place where there were no toilets and you lived in a small house with seven other people? Slums have a negative effect on populations because slums are growing. How is it to live in one of these slums and how does it effect everyone? But how will it affect you?
